Thanks for providing me with the opportunity to introduce myself. I am in health care since 1988 (www.dialysis-portal.com) which provides medical service in most of the European countries specifically for Dialysis patients.
Ten years ago I founded and built an ASP like company (www.calcucare.com) which I sold to Fresenius Medical Care (www.fmc-ag.com) in 2003.
During "Calcucare" times I started operations in USA, Italy, Spain, Hungary and Taiwan. Today about 60+ clinics (1200 Users) in various European countries are using the medical record system that was developed and deployed within Calcucare.
In 2004 I co-founded an "Institute for information technology in health care" (www.johner-institut.de) which provides a wonderful interface to the German health care industry. As of now 30 post graduate master students from all major players in the German health care industry (Cerner, Siemens, etc.) are taking part in the 2 year on the job master study.
